FaceTime activating problems
1. FaceTime is not available everywhere.
Unfortunately, if you find your country in a list of countries where Facetime is not available, we have to disappoint you. You won’t be able to use FaceTime in any case.
There are these countries : Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
2. Check to see whether your iPad or iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network or not.

3. Valid Apple ID

Make sure that your phone number and email address are written correctly. Often, you leave some letters or numbers in your email address. (Tap Settings icon> FaceTime> check to see that all parameters are set correctly). Also, make sure that you use the same email address on all devices.
2. Correct date and time
Receiving calls problems often appears because of incorrect date and time. Make sure that these two parameters are set correctly. ( Settings > General > Date & Time) It could be better if you change your Date and Time slider to be set automatically.( in the “green” position)
Check to see that all restrictions are turned off. Especially Camera and FaceTime because they are connected with each other(Disabling the camera will disable FaceTime). If you need restrictions on at a very short time, make sure that these two parameters aren’t off under the same settings. ( Settings > General > Restrictions)
4. Fetch New Data
Chech to see if the Fetch New Data is set to “Push”. In this case, FaceTime will be alerted of the incoming calls. Tap on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > choose ” Push”
5. FaceTime blocked list
Make sure that a person you would like to call or who would like to call you is not in a Blocked list. In this case, you restrict an ability to call you or someone in this list, call, using FaceTime and send and receive messages via iMessage. To check what people are in this list Go to the Settings> FaceTime> Blocked list > Clean this list if you add a person accidentally.
If FaceTime still not working
1. Restart your iPhone, iPad, iPod or Mac
The easiest way to fix everything on Apple devices is to restart them. This way is possible if you made sure that all FaceTime settings were set correctly and you don’t know what else issues are left without viewing. If FaceTime failed, this may relieve the errors. (Tap on the Block button long > Turn it off > Turn it on and check the FaceTime again)
2. Update your operating system to the latest release
Some problems with facetime appeals because of your operating system version is not up to date. To fix it Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Make sure that your software is updated to the latest release.
